Day 1
Style - Style, to a fiction writer, is basically the way you write, as opposed to what you write about (though the two things are definitely linked).
Day 2

Example: Sea of grief - How and where does one come across a sea that is filled not with water, but with grief?

Day 3

Day 4
Foreshadowing - give the reader a hint of something that is going to happen without revealing the story or spoiling the suspense. Foreshadowing is used to suggest an upcoming outcome to the story.
Day 5
Irony - special kind of contrast between appearance and reality
Example: A man who is a traffic cop gets his license suspended for unpaid parking tickets. Example: A pilot with a fear of heights.
